loading new msq

Hi,
I'm using MS2 V3 . I already calibrated my sensors in megatune and it runs fine.
I have a new edited msq file in my other laptop , If I load it to my ecu, do I need to calibrate again my sensors in megatune?

thanks,

RPM dip

Hi,
I'm using MS2 v3 with edis4 ignition on my 4age 16v engine.
I fairly tune my engine using LC-1 with the help of megalog viewer.
I find the stable idling at 13.3 afr

My problem now is when idle at 800rpm then suddenly press the accelerator and release the pedal, my rpm dips to 500rpm and then ...

Re: no injector trigger after tuning warmup

Hi,
I found the problem why there is no trigger output on my MS2 .I found that here is no +12v supply on IC U4 (IXDI404PI).
I see burnt traces in front of C14 ,this traces is connected after D3 . I found out that the C14 (4.7uf) capacitor is shorted.
I replace it and now my MS2 is working great and ...

Re: no injector trigger after tuning warmup

I tested my ms2 today and still finding what is the cause of no injector trigger output.
I have no oscilloscope so I used test LED to do this. I dont see any trigger pulse on the Gate of the Injector mosfet while cranking.

I updated and load new code (v2.890.abs.s19) to the MS2 chip .
The ...

the article suggested to used TIP120 because its a lot cheaper than the VB921 for switching the igniter.

i'm planning to use TIP41c instead of the TIP120 because i have a spare of this transistor at home,

i checked their data sheet and
notice that the TIP41C is "NPN epitaxial silicon transistor ...

As far as I am aware, the toyota igniter used with the VAST system does not control the dwell, it relies on the ECU to do this.

Lance.
