I'v gotten them off T-birds vans and pickups.
For a TBI I would immagin that one pump would feed 2 TBIs, you only need 12psi. If not, then run 2 pumps?
My friend is using one on a GM 4.3 ...

Approx 12" of steel line with the o ring. I then used compression fittings and stuff to get to a 3/8 barbed fitting to high pressure hose.
Then back to large brake lines all the way back to the tank where I used the tranny cooler adapters to get back to ...

The basic results were:
1) Increasing advance pulls more vacc at cruse (up to a point)
2) no real change in VE requirements noticed.

Tuning between spark and ve
I've been tuning along for a while now, and I've moved on to adjusting the spark table.
I think I've found the upper limmit for idle advance, and I've been backing off that area with improvements. http://www.msefi.com/viewtopic.php?f=89&t=31733
