Re: error loading firmware

Agreed. I have never had a problem with the stim though.

Re: No crank speed at all

Note that the signal you get from a Stim may not be identical to that from a sensor so you may need to adjust those pots between them.

Generally, I've never needed to adjust R52 so leave that fully CCW. Its purpose is to help with interference, and there won't be any from a Stim.

Start with R56 ...

What is keeping you from using it? Seems a lot simpler!

Re: intial advance

After checking, this is about the same timing it had before I converted to ignition control. I have 14 degrees initial and about 12 degrees from the vacuum advance so it had a total of about 26 degrees before conversion. Maybe I am out to lunch but it idles better with more advance. Before, the air ...

Re: intial advance

That sounds like a lot of advance to me! I run a similar engine and run 16-18 degrees at idle.

Can we assume that the timing has been confirmed with a non-adjustable light?

Re: MS to engine harness

Thank you fo your reply, I don't think I made much sense though. I am looking for what each pin on the DB37 does. like what pin 1 does, pin 2 does, and so on.

Thank you for helping me! - Chris
I think that most of what you're looking for (pinouts, schematics, etc) can be found in the various MS ...

Re: increasing boost tune steps

Im new to tuning so spoon feed me. I have a roots-blown, e85, MS-II application currently has a basic tune for 6 PSI at WOT that was done on a chassis dyno by a professional tuner. The MS-II is being used for fuel only! I want to change the pulley and start getting the boost up for the track. The ...

Re: Which sub-forum, IR throttle bodies research?

I get the impression they're more about looks than performance with injection - unless you have a very high revving engine.
Right on target, Dave!

We used them on sprint cars, many years ago. They were mechanical in those days and had only 2 states of operation.... full throttle or shut off ...

Maybe so in Elko and Winnemucca, but certainly not the case in Eureka!

I agree for the most part. Although there seem to be a few, out there using ITBs (mostly Extra code it seems). I actually had considered using them on my own project at one time.

Just noticed your profile! Where, in NV, are you? I am in Eureka........
