In the past 12 months I have placed 3 orders with DIYAutoTune.com and have been very happy with the service. I live in Australia but that hasn't stopped them providing excellent service and fast delivery (around 5 days). I have only ever contacted them via email or using there online ordering system ...

Yes my display worked fine with diesel. You will just need to check your manual for your wideband to check if there are any settings for different fuel types.

WBO2's will work with most fuels. You will just need to know the stoichiomic ratio of the fuel you are using or work in lambda. I have used mine with both petrol and diesel.

Dissy angle is the angle you set the dissy to like when you set a standard dissy. the angle is the angle before top dead centre that the ignition is triggered. Trigger angle I should have said "trigger offset" which is a setting in Megatune that tells the MS what angle the dissy is set to.

So to ...

The Quick way to do it if you just want to try it out, is remove the springs and weights and just tie some wire around where the springs were. Also remove the hose from the vacume canister. Set the trigger angle to 10 degrees and see how it goes. If you have any problems with miss firing try ...

I saw it done in "Street Machine" magazine in Australia. It was done in an old Falcon. They also mounted the altinator at the back of the engine and covered the balancer so you couldn't see any moving parts. it looked very cool. If I find the magazine I will try and scan the artical.

cheers

Daniel.

Your correct, you do have to have a 36-1 wheel for EDIS. The 12-1 won't work with EDIS.
All I can find is that a 12-1 will have slightly less accuracy during acceleration when used with the MS2extra code which has every tooth decoding.

My Plan was to try and use what I had. Another option is to grind one of the teeth off the crank wheel to give me a 12-1 wheel and just run that.

The Crank wheel is a 12 tooth and there is a single tooth wheel on each inlet cam 180 a part. So I will connect the crank trigger as normal and add a second VR input for the cam triggers which will be combined together. I plan to use the origonal igniters to drive the coils. this setup will require ...

I'm building a Hot Rod with a 1UZFE. My plan is to run MS2extra and keep the duel disy set up and standard trigger wheels. At the moment I have the rolling chassis completed so it will be a little while before I have the engine running, but I have gathered most, if not all, of the info I require to ...
