Re: Inconsistent Injector Pulses in test mode
These are Hi-Z Injectors. I tested each of them. They are around 15ohms each. The problem is happening in both banks. The impression I get is as if there wasn't enough current to move the injectors. Yesterday I added an extra ground to the MS. I also did the test ...

Inconsistent Injector Pulses in test mode
I have a 3.51 board with MS2. 2.92 firmware. It's installed in a 1986 camaro with TPI. It has 8 24lb/h SVO injectors in two banks.
I was able to drive this car once, just to a gas station about 5 blocks from my house. When I was returning from the gas station the car started acting up ...

For anyone having the same issues as me, I'd like to leave for posterity how I solved my starting problem.
The problem was in the reqFuel parameter. I had lowered it a ...

Re: Idle PWM at 16ms?
No, I'm not trying to drive my injectors with a wall wart. I'm using a Megastim to test my MS II before fouling another set of spark plugs. The generic wall wart I bought for the Megastim has a voltage selector, but at 12V it only outputs 7V.
My problem is I'm getting way too high PWMs ...

Re: Idle PWM at 16ms?
I still think I must have a parameter wrong somewhere. Even with your corrected voltage, 14.310 is still extremely high for my application. That's about what I was getting when I fouled my spark plugs. Even with the 6.55ms you mention I'll still be too rich. If ...

Re: Fuel Pump Relay Behavior
Sorry I forgot to mention it's a v3.0 MB.
I'll replace those transistors and see if it works. However, I'm thinking about leaving the fuel pump relay connected to the ignition switch instead, since another transistor failure could leave me stranded in the middle of ...

Fuel Pump Relay Behavior
I had to connect the fuel pump relay to the car's ignition switch in order to start testing it because I never got it to turn on from the MS controller. I thought it was me who had wired it incorrectly.
Now I'm ...

Re: Bad module or false triggering?

Bad module or false triggering?
I just finished my first Megasquirt install. It's a MS-II with 3.0 board bought assembled from DIYAutoTune. It's on a 1986 Iroc with a Chevy 350 engine controlling both fuel and a HEI distributor with a 7 module pin. The distributor has an Accel coil, if that ...
