In responce to your query regarding dataloging. I have paid for MegaLogViewer
but have some issues reading any of the data from MegaTune.
I have asked for help on another thread. I think it has something to do with
Firmware !!!!

datalog starting attempts of each setup and post them along with their msq's

Check distributor phasing. Make sure at ~ 25 degrees bTDC that rotor points to either the cap post of plug 1 or whatever the 3rd cylinder in your firing order.

You must satisfy the phasing condition before adjusting trigger angle

not to hijack your thread, but on a similar note, is there another fet driver that I can substitute for the IXDI404PI FET driver or the MC34151PG??

I am a little concerned with the picture in that link. The ends don't look right to me.

The above description says HEI which definitely will not work with the Ford EDIS coil packs......

We used a Ford coil on the Vtec Mini. I can't recall where Mike got the ends but I think someone at NAPA ordered them for him
He made the wires right on the car

I don't know if they would do the install - the last MS customer that had they referred to tuning to me and we did it there.
They have more experience now and of course they are a class company to deal with.

FWIW, I already had a length of nice 2-conductor 20AWG braided shield wire I'm going to use. But - I noted (before I found what I already had!) this is very difficult to find, let alone in less than 100ft. coils. But - I did come across a great source that may help ...

ok guys i returned the last 70/30 solder and i went to radioshack but i didnt find the 63/37 so i bought the 60/40 ROSIN-CORE solder .032" .
is this ok or should i have the 63/37 one , also do i need the flux cause i dont know if this one got built in flux , i really need help with the flux thing ...

i've bought a 30W iron , and a 70/30 0.8mm wire with built in flux , is this items are right or do i need to change any

If it's 70% tin, you'll probably have trouble using it with a non-temperature controlled iron.
If the flux is anything but rosin, you may have trouble with ...

i don't see any fuses going to the injectors?

big red wire going to terminal 88z at combo relay comes directly from starter, and through relay to terminals 88b & 88e which seem to go directly to injectors. why wouldn't factory have injectors fused?
