Transient fuelling is the changes in, cycle to cycle, fuelling required to keep the feedgas as close as possible to stoich. during throttle (and therefore load) transients.

It is NOT the same as acceleration/heavy load enrichment, in which the aim of the enrichment is to produce maximum torque.

Although the amount injected will remain, by & large, very similar the amount that reaches the combustion chamber on a large throttle transient will vary enough to notice.
