Not sure about the suppliers in the Great White North, so Google "AMP connectors, Junior Timer Series" or something close. AMP is the OEM.

You can also get Bosch style 2 pin connectors off just about 90% of the EFI cars out there - the 2 pin injector connector has become kind of a defacto ...

what watt soldering iron would you reccomend?

If you are looking at never using it again, something in a 20-30 watt pencil tip style iron will be fine and cheap.

If you want to use this things for years to come and be able to get a multitude of tips and such, a station unit such as the unit TT350Chevelle suggested is probably the way to go.

The "correct" way to do it is the Temp I (or IAT, if you prefer) needs to be located in the intake air-stream.

OEMs locate this sensor in the airbox, or in the AFM, or they derive the temp directly from the MAF (Wheatstone Bridge allows direct calculation).

As far as I've seen, most L-Jet cars have them. The list of stuff with L-Jet is quite long - basically, look for 83-90ish Euro cars. BMWs are a good source, the occasional SAAB, and some Volvos. Most SAABs were K-Jet till they went Motronic - which doesn't need it.
