Re: Rochester 5235277 injector specifications

Ok, for others trying to find info on this injector I conducted tests using the Advanced/Output Test Mode of TunerStudio I confirmed that my injector flowed 55.2lb/hr @ 10.1PSI (70KPA).

I also worked out the opening time (dead time) of the injector. Mine measures 0.850ms before it just starts to ...

FPR... is vacuum used in TBI application?

I have a GM injector mounted in a Patton Machines SU HIF44 adaptor. The injector is mounted up-stream of the butterfly. I'm using an Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator set to a nominal 12PSI.
My question is, should I connect a vacuum line from the FPR to a ported vacuum source or is this only done ...

I also had the same problem. Ken has hit the nail on the head, I had to run the Calibrate AFR Table and select the TechEdge and then write to the MS. :)

Re: Engine runs with key off - MSD ignition related

HI. I had a very similar problem. Your right about using a diode, the solution was to put a diode in series with the ignition warning light output from the alternator. Back EMF (voltage) was keeping the Megasquirt alive. Hope this fixes your problem. :D

This thread mentions this problem: http ...

Re: Rochester 5235277 injector specifications

Look up the Delphi part number on go.delphi.com - that is where I got my information.

Good luck trying to pry the turn-on and turn-off times out of Delphi's clutches. DIYAutoTune.com is a Delphi dealer, and they won't give that information to us, either.

Thanks Matt. I'm still confused as to why ...

Re: Rochester 5235277 injector specifications

They're now sold as a Delphi FJ10041. According to Delphi, they flow 56 lb/hr at 70 kPa fuel pressure.

Thanks Matt. Could you point me to the Delphi doco that lists the flow rates. The reason is the supplier of the injector is quoting an estimated flow of 41.6lb/hr @ 13psi, and a commercial ...

Rochester 5235277 injector specifications

Hi, I'm trying to find flow rate specifications for a Rochester 5235277 injector. If anyone has or knows where I may find documentation on this GM low pressure injector could you share it with me? :)

MAP Only on 'A' Series Engine

Hi all, my first post, so please be kind. Currently gathering all bit's & pieces to EFI my 1968 Morris Mini 1310 A series. I will be using MSII v3.0, a single injector in a TBI (wet manifold) configuration, running a standard mild cam. Can I get away with running MAP only, or do I have to use ...
