I just installed the pwm iac mod on my ms2 v3.0 pcb running on b&g 2.8900 code and I was wondering how to tell if I installed the mod correctly? I assumed that when I built it and configured it in TS that the IDL light on the stim would light up but it doesnt light up. Can somebody please ...

this post is done. number 1 doesnt have any pressure and the rest have 70. i just rebuilt this engine too.......

i actually had to check for signal to one of my injectors and i just used an led from a diesel truck (24v) and it worked great. it has a resistor on it but i dunno what the resistance is (didnt measure). works great, you can also just use an automotive test lamp also. just a quick 2 cents

you were right about the plugs. i put a timing light on #1 wire and it was making the light flash but no spark was coming out.i got spark to both plugs now but heres something i dont understand, i get 5 degrees of timing if i hook up the light to #6 cylinder wire but i cant even see the mark on #1 ...

if you are just wondering if they are opening or not, you can just listen to them though a screwdriver (or automotive stethoscope). the z injectors chatter really loud so you might not even need that.

It's been a while since I messed with the car but I was curious about how I ground sensor wires to the megasquirt? Do I run the wires to the db37 and solder them to the ground wires going out or do I solder them to unused solder cups? If so which cups can I use?

I cut the wires going to the tps off and capped them and now the tps signal starts at -18 and gradually goes up to like 43%. that's with the vref, signal and ground disconnected from the harness. IMHO, not a good idea. The should all go to a single pin in the DB37 connector - as per the wiring diagram. The MS grounds as you've done.
