Re: Fuel Flow

I'm using a holley pro-jection 2d set up and the replacement injectors are flow rated at 21psi (81.6 lbs/hr @ 21 psi) so that is what I was going to run.

Re: Fuel Flow

Yeah the fuel pressure is running high. 25 psi or so for injectors rated at 21. I was going to lower it today to see if that is the issue, I just don't see how that small amount is going to sway the mileage figures so much, but we'll see. I've had a lot of problems with this install so I wanted to ...

Re: Fuel Flow

My bad. firmware 2.905. The fuel flow says I should be getting 25ish, but I'm doing 18. I'm using a old laptop with no bluetooth to connect to the GPS and shadow dash doesn't have an option to display economy as far as I can tell.

Re: Fuel Flow

I did, you missed it. Tuner Studio v 2.2.13. Now when you say rated injector fuel flow do you mean a single injector or rated fuel flow for all of the injectors? I do have alternating injection set up, but not sequential. I'm using a throttle body. That being said I'm not sure how you would set it ...

Fuel Flow

How is the fuel flow read out calculated in tunerstudio? I've been monitoring it and mentally calculating my mileage and it seems way off. The settings seem right, but obviously something somewhere is set up wrong. Thanks.

TPS noise after update

I've continued to have problems with my install, with the mixture periodically leaning way way out. Just recently I installed a AC filter on the 12v in for the MSIIv3/relay board set up and it started running great. Then when I went to update the tune file it started running horribly, leaning out on ...

Re: negative tps values and lean cycling

I think I solved my problem. I have a one wire powermaster alternator installed and called them regarding my somewhat erratic voltage readings and the tech suggested I ground the alternator housing to guard against a poor ground. I grounded the housing to the MS common ground on the engine and I've ...

Re: negative tps values and lean cycling

I'm also having problems with noise from the TPS and map sensor, I've seen a smooth response from the TPS, though it has noise. To compensate for the noise I've lowered the lag factor down to 20 which has stabilized it a good deal and the AE% threshold is at 10%. The return spring is very strong and ...

negative tps values and lean cycling

I'm still trying to tune the car in and lately I've started having lean issues. The target afr will be 15 say and the accel enrichment will stay rock solid and the pw will be stable but the AFR reading will start to creep up then climb to super lean (this is under constant throttle, like cruising or ...

Re: TPSdot noise and 4ms signal

The TPS has 3 wires, reference, signal and return, they all go back to the relay board positions 12,13,14. The MS is grounded to the common ground for the whole system on the engine block.

TPSdot noise and 4ms signal

Got a V3.0 MSII with 2.905, relay board, MSD6a, mopar. I've been trying to track down some issues with the set up since I got it running back in August. Looking over some logs I noticed there seemed to be a lot of noise coming through the tps signal, when I know my foot was steady. Looked at the ...

Re: Erratic AFR readings.

I think the exhaust pipes are 2.5" and the exhaust crossover tube is 1.5"?? it is a lot smaller than the main exhaust tubes.

Erratic AFR readings.

I've got MS2 with LC-1 WB installed in my 318 dart and last night on the drive home I was running VEanalyze live from Tunerstudio and I noticed that even though my target AFR was 16something I was consistently getting high 12s and low 13s and VEAL wasn't making any corrections to those cells and ...

Re: Problem with Erratic Firing.

Soooo....
Some how a bunch of junk data found its way into my tunes. I've been running on 8 port injectors with some weird flow rate and a narrow band on my dual injector TBI wideband setup. Back to square one.

Problem with Erratic Firing.

I got my MSII running, fuel only, but I can't seem to eliminate what feels like a really bad missing. AFAIK the car was running fine before I installed the MSII, but I've been struggling with this as soon as I started it up after the installation. I've changed the plugs, wires, cap, rotor so now I'm ...

Re: injector flow rating

I recognized the units as grams per second, but wasn't sure since it didn't seem to be units used by anyone for sizing injectors. Thanks!
