Solenoid on off Valve - Not PWM
I think I may have installed the PWM Idle Valve circuit when not required.
I think my idle valve is only a pure on/ off type solenoid.
What should i be installing/removing on the board or what steps should i be following?
I am running a megasuit 2 V3.0 PCB
Thanks
Kieran

Re: TFI Ignition RPM reading, but no spark.
I have CCD TFI module like you mentioned on page 1. How do wire this up to my distributor/Megasuiqrt II V3.0 if i have done the TFI mod and my TFI CCD module doesn't have the 3 connections for the distributor at one end?
The things that have thrown me are that the PIP is an IN (pin 6) and in ...

Re: Wiring Ford TFI to MSII and Hall Effector Distributor
Thanks for your quick reply!
That makes sense with the STRT reference, i was/am just confused as the wiring diagram from the original car seems to have it differently.
Unfortunately my Ford TFI ignition system doesn't have the 3 additional pins on the other end of the module, it only ...

Wiring Ford TFI to MSII and Hall Effector Distributor
Im just trying to hook up my ford TFI ignition and just working out where to hook all the 6 pins up from the TFI and also then how the hall effect sensor hooks into the circuit.
Im running a V3.0 PCB with MS II and have performed the TFI mod in step 65 i think it was.
In the diagram (as ...

Re: How to test PWM IAC mod on stim?
Im having a similar problem, except my LED is staying on.
Ive modded for the Ford Valve Following these steps:
For PWM Idle Valve Users Only
Note - if you are using a PWM idle valve (Ford or Bosch 2 wire valve - see this link for more information), these valves can not be operated with a ...

Re: TFI Ignition Set up
Thats what I will run with then.
In this section
Use the Hall/optical/points input circuit, in step #50 of the V3 assembly guide, but:
Use a 1k resistor in series with the ignition input coming from the TFI. Do this by pacing a 1K Ohm resistor in the main board location marked "D2 ...

So, step #50 says:
Use the Hall/optical/points input circuit, in step #50 of the V3 assembly guide, but:
Use a 1k resistor in series with the ignition ...
