You could daisy chain a series of resistors between ground and 5V Then connect their junctions to your switch, and the output of that to MS. Say 1k resistors. Better than nothing, I suppose. But I'd personally fit a normal pot. Perhaps one is used on a later version of your engine, which fits ...

MS compatability with 5 pin TPS

Just wondering if anyone has heard of or has experience with using a 5 pin non-potentiometer TPS with MS, instead of the usual 3 pin potentiometer sensor. From my initial investigating with a multimeter it seems like my stock TPS has a +5v pin and then 4 signal grounds that go back to the stock ecu ...
