Re: No crank speed at all

I have tried the PNP NPN (the little switch). I am sorry, but I don't know what a DVM is.

Re: No crank speed at all

We are using the VR, or at least that is what i am trying to do.I just thought I would add anything that is "different". We are testing on the stim. however I have tried on the car before too but not since I made a few changes.

Tacho

Hello everybody, I am a bit confused about the tacho pin #36 of the DB 37 I think. Is this how to trigger the coil? Also, The tachometer that I have used to be controlled by the stock ecu, how do I send it a signal form the Megasquirt (V2 3.0)?

Thanks so much! - Chris Fowler :yeah!:

Re: MS to engine harness

Thank you fo your reply, I don't think I made much sense though. I am looking for what each pin on the DB37 does. like what pin 1 does, pin 2 does, and so on.

Thank you for helping me! - Chris

Okay, so I have my Megasqurt 2 V3.0 all done and ready to go on the car (Porsche 944 S2). Re: IAC

Okay, so it is PWM, thank you for that. So, then I should connect JS0 to IAC1A, JS1 to IAC1B, JS2 to IAC2A, and JS3 to IAC2B?

Again, thank you so much for all the help. I am super new to anything like this and I know that I bit off more than I can chew but I am excited to learn!

Thank you, Chris

IAC

(Megasquirt 2 V3.0) Hello, I am using a 3 wire Bosch IAC on a Porsche 944 S2 and I saw that in the assembly guide there are different methods of wiring the board for different IAC valves. I think that what I have is a stepper IAC. I have also found a picture on google that has the 3 wire IAC that ...

Re: Basic Solder question

Ok so I got curious and found that the heat actually had no affect on the PCB. What I was seeing has been caused by the flux!
Thank you so much Ken!

Basic Solder question

Hello everybody, I am just starting to solder the DB9 connector on and I noticed that the solder mask is turning a darker blue and it is "bubbling" for lack of a better term. I tried putting a picture with this post, I think it worked. Any and all criticism is welcome! Thank you so much!
