Re: Looking for a tune file for Ford Windsor 351

I'm doing the same thing on my old Ski Nautique, but fuel & IAC only. I started with the MS-generated tables, and I'm cruising nicely at idle and slightly above. No O2 sensor right now. In fact, unless I come up with a way to use an O2 sensor in the ancient wet manifolds, this is going to be a seat ...

Re: IAT and CLT reading 170

Solved. There was an open circuit between the board and Pin 19 on the DB37. Everything working nicely now.

Re: IAT and CLT reading 170

Alrighty, I think I'm onto something here. I'm pretty sure the problem is that the MSII isn't grounding pin 19, the sensor ground. Here's how I found out:

First I plugged the stim into the MSII, turned on MegaTune on the PC and verified the MSII's operation. Everything -- including temp sensors and ...

No changes to either unit's calibrations. Stock programming for GM sensors.

(I'm using v 2.891 on the MSII v3.0)

IAT and CLT reading 170

Hello all:

I know about #17 in the troubleshooting section, so before you send me there, hear me out . . .

On my freshly assembled MSII v3.0 board, my coolant and air sensors read 170 when plugged into the harness on the car. The harness goes to my relay board. Everything else works fine. On the ...

Re: Throttle Body Part -- Need a Source

Thanks guys. Yes, it's where the wires pass through. It's not under pressure, but left unplugged it would allow unfiltered air into the injection chamber.

For now I'm using a molded a polymer plug I made with the injector wires passing through. It's airtight, but I'm just not sure how long it'll ...

Throttle Body Part -- Need a Source

Anyone know where to buy the plug that goes in the gap circled in red?

It's a Rochester throttle body for 4.3L V6 early 90s GM engine. My local dealer couldn't find it on his parts sheet. Go figure.
