Megatune via internet

Hi all,
Just wondering, for future development (if it hasn't happening), is there any possible we can integrate a function where we can tune a car via internet access? If this can be done, the tuner doesn't have to be in the car at all.. all they need is just a mobile broadband on the laptop which ...

Re: VE estimation for boost

yes i'm using SARD 1:1 boost reference fuel pressure regulator. its kinda hard to use the MLV to do the VE analysis as we need to load the Fuel VE everytime we done an analysis. another thing is during a road tune session, if we are in the Fuel VE map, we cannot see the AFR gauge update at behind ...

VE estimation for boost

our MS2 fueling equation "PW = REQ_FUEL * VE * MAP * E + accel + Injector_open_time" is it possible for us to estimate the VE value at certain RPM/kPa?
here is an example. now at 5000RPM/200kpa, my VE is 80 in which i can obtain 12AFR. if i'm going to higher boost, let say 5000RPM/300kpa and to ...

Re: Toyota 4AGE-VAST RPM input

i've checked the wiring and i found out that the signal from distributor does not goes to the ignitor, it was fed directly to 4AGE ECU "Ne" pin. this meaning that the "Ne" signal is not a 12V square pulse as per MegaManual VAST instruction. Could it be?
the car runs fine with stock ECU that this ...

Re: Toyota 4AGE-VAST RPM input

my MS2 previously was getting signal from a "ignitor conditioner" and i've bypass D1 and D2. now should i still keep the bypass of D1 and D2 and run a 1Kohm to D9 as per instruction?

Toyota 4AGE-VAST RPM input

I'm now currently building a Toyota with 4AGE 16V in it. previously the owner using stock ECU and runs a turbo in it.
I've made a connected between the stock harness to MS2 V3 board. I tried to crank it but no RPM signals was registered. I'm connecting the RPM thru the "NE" signal from the stock ...

i've got a shielded ignition wire. the core will be connected to the negative of the coil(signal), how bout the shielded mesh around the core?
if refering the the wirings on MSII, Positive signal will go to Pin #24 and the negative will be going to Pin #7.
if i connect the shielded mesh to Pin #7 ...

For low-impedance injectors (less than 3 Ohms), you need to limit the current to avoid overheating the injectors. To do this, there is a period of time that you apply full battery voltage [peak] current, then switch over to a lower current-averaged [hold] current, i.e. peak and hold. Alternatively ...

MS II injector wiring

i've just purchased a MSII on Ver 3 board. i'm going to using 450cc low ohm injectors on my turbo Toyota 3TC. do i need to connect an resistor in series with the injector? if i eliminate it, do i need to make certain setting changes in the Megatune?
