Source for Male Bosch connectors?

Post by sportage4x4 »

does anyone know of a source for male bosch connectors? the female ones are easy enough to find, but i've searched and searched and cant find any place that sells male ones. more specifically, a 3 pin male connector, as used on some bosch 3wire PWM idle air motors, bosch TPS's, some bosch knock sensors, and bosch hall sensors.

anyone have any ideas?

2pin male connectors i've found. i guess some people use those to extend injector harness leads.

These days I always leave a breakers yard with a pocket full of bosch/amp connectors. Strip em down, stick em in the dishwasher and re use with new pins.... :D

haha, in the dishwasher, yeah, and sleep in the garage for a week!

of the few male connectors i've found most have the pins and leads moulded in. perhaps i need to search the junk yards harder.

just checked, only 2pins male.

the bosch hall sensor is precisely what i need, i need to extend the sensor from the loom, but i dont (cant) cut the plug off the loom, so i need a Male and a Female, the female is easy enough to find at any of the above mentioned sources. it seems as though the male is non existant.

It is possible it dosen`t exist, the bosch hall sensor connector isn`t like a normal JTC if I remember correctly, similar but not identical..

i've pretty much concluded it is non existant. so i'll have to raid the scrap yard and see how many i can find on pigtails from knock sensors.
