4agze stock coolant and air temp sensors

Post by mhiscott »

Hey guys. I've got my megasquirt pretty much done on my 4agze, with the exception of calibrating my oem toyota sensors to work. Is there any chance someone would have known values for the Toyota CLT and IAT sensors? I'm thinking the calibration method using mega therm and different temperature water or the like might be harder than it sounds. I've found documents on autoshop101.com showing the resistance curve for some toyota sensors, but I'm still unsure of how to configure these to read properly in megatune. Either by inserting a resistor inline, or changing programmed values, I'd be up for either. Anyone have any step by step expaination as to how to do this?

Thanks!
Mike

This doccument is showing the information for the coolant temp sensor, but the air temp sensor it shows is a closed type, the one on my 4agze is open element, should the resistance curve still remain the same though?
