Grounding sensors
Read the manual to see if your question is answered there before posting. Many users will not reply if the answer is already available in the manual.

Grounding sensors
I was going to make a star ground where the MS is grounded. Is that ok?
All of these are essentially tied into the same ground as the MS.
If you're making your own harness, yes ideally you should ground with the MS. The shorter the ground path from sensor to MS the less likely you'll see noise from various other electrics in the car.
Also, some people say that the engine is a preferential ground (vs the chassis)
