Low Imp injectors on v3.57

Post by Southcross »

I'm not sure if I'm setting them up right? Bosch Low Imp (2.4ohm) injectors.

:RTFM:
PWM Time Threshold to 1.0 mSec
PWM Current Limit to 75% (30% if you have installed the 'Flyback Board' daughter card).

There was a reference to using only 30% (for v3.57) in the normal MegaMAnual, definite had no luck with that low of a setting... Tried 50, 60 and 66... 75% seemed to work best for me (I'll tweak it from there)

What about the other numbers: injector opening time, (and a setting I can't remember what its called, but its time is directly related to opening), etc. Do I leave them default?
The manual says that once the car idles to adjust them... problem is I'm having a fueling issue getting the engine to start, my VE numbers seem way out of wack (from anyone that that has a comparable setup) and I don't know if its an injector "time" opening issue or what.

Start with injector opening time and PWM Time threshold both 1.0 msec.

ya, that is more or less what I quoted.

I was hoping for a little more "personal experience" feedback
