Single Injector Bank Wiring Question

Post by dubbase »

I am trying to install my MS2 so that I can swap it in and out with the stock fuel injections system easily since it is my daily driver. The stock injector harness has a 2 prong connector to disconnect the stock ECU. I would like to wire MS2 to utilize the stock plug for simplicity.

My question is; how do I wire all four injectors on a single bank using only 2 wires. I know I wire power through one wire but should I ground the injectors through both injectors banks on the MS2 ecu and run simultaneous batch injection in the software? Normally I would wire power to all injectors and ground 2 injectors to one bank and the other 2 injectors to the other bank and run alternating injection.

Thanks for the help

What resistance do you read between the two pins going to the injectors?

The resistance reading at the connector is 3.7 to 5 Ohms.

If the four injectors in parallel are reading between 3.5 and 5 ohms, then they're high impedance, and you should be able to drive them all off of one injector output as-is.

Kind of makes sense, since if you were running a multi-port V8 you'd need to be able to run the two banks like this.

Cheers,

So I don't need to tie in the other pins for the second injector bank? or in other words I can leave pins 35 and 34 disconnected and only use pins 32 and 33 for all 4 injectors?
