coil on plug setup!

coil on plug setup!

right i am hoping to have a coil on plug setup on my 2l zetec turbo and i have been offered the ones from a v5 golf now providing they fit over the plug in the engine and i have the wiring connectors I should be able to use them shouldnt i??

As long as you know what sort of signal they need to trigger and have a rough idea of their dwell time.

i could find this out on auto data perhaps? ive been told it has the built in amp for ignition tho, would this be a problem? or am i better off with the duratec ones?

The easiest option would be a regular Zetec coil pack. Ford coils can be done but are a bit more work.

Alldata doesn't have the waveform they need; if you have a different source, you're welcome to try it.
