Hydrolocking with gas
I'm getting to the end of my project : jetta mk1, golf mk3 gti engine and trans + Megasquirt 2 (controlling fuel + ignition). For a week, i cranked it several times but without ignition control. Each cranking attempt was done switching on / off MG.
Today, i tried to crank it but the cylinders were full of gas ! Is it possible for the "priming" pulses (when switching on and off the ECU ) to flood the engine like this ?
The O - rings are new in the rail.

Thanks, it was due to faulty seals...Matt Cramer wrote:It can happen if the priming pulses are too large. You will want to make sure the injectors aren't stuck open, however.
