EDIS Wire ends

Post by Corysvdub »

Does anybody know where to get the wire ends to convert my plug wires to EDIS? Somebody other than Boost Engineering? He hasn't responded to any of my emails or returned any phone calls. Just looking for an alternative

Hmmmmm......

Those &^%(%^ ends are almost impossible to find except at Boost Engineering!

Actually I got very good service from Boost on all the business I have done with them. I hope nothing has changed there! :shock:

Alternatives
Get hold of original EDIS HTleads from a scrapyard, and reuse the connectors onto your plugwires.

Or use the original EDIS HTleads and put on the appropriate spark plug boots.

We used a Ford coil on the Vtec Mini. I can't recall where Mike got the ends but I think someone at NAPA ordered them for him
He made the wires right on the car

If you are interested, I can check on the part #

I am a little concerned with the picture in that link. The ends don't look right to me.
Incl. Socket And HEI Spark Plug Top Distributor Caps - Multi-Angle Boots / Terminals;
The above description says HEI which definitely will not work with the Ford EDIS coil packs......

I had a TERRIBLE time finding these connectors for my setup. About $50 dollars when I finally got them!

I'll check with the local shop. That was my experience too and was surprised when they were delivered the next day

Could you please? I ended up buying an aftermarket set of wires from autozone for a 92 escort 1.9 and they worked for my application. The lengths were just right. I would really appreciate those numbers for future reference.
