Autotune help

Post by Kurt A »

What triggers the autotune fault, "tuning point outside window". I am well within my VE table when I trigger the autotune function but the above fault triggers instantly when I try to use autotune.

You're within the ve-map but outside the autotune window, have a read about the limits here:

I have read that portion at least 15 times and still am not sure what I am doing wrong. I have my EGO settings as per the manual. I can see that the custom.ini. file needs to be changed for my application but have no idea on how to change it. My computer says that it can not open the file. Do I require a special program to edit the custom.ini. file?

Same problem over here. I read carefully that link, if i understand correctly I only need to copy&paste that piece of code to the end of the system.ini file? Or do I have to delete also something in the file?

Also I am not quite sure which one system.ini file I need to fix. For example:

c:/program files/megasquirt/ms2 extra 210/mtcfg (here is my project)
or
c:/program files/megasquirt/megatune225/mtcfg/
or
c:/program files/megasquirt/megatune225/mtcfg/carmtcfg
???
