Post by Mx73 »

my crank wheels seems to wobble a bit, it's definite noticeable , could this be throwing my idle off, , how perfect does the wheel need to be, because i had a shop weld it on., .

In my experience, a little wheel wobble is par for the course after welding. I found mine easy enough to correct by tapping it with a hammer as I rotated it, using the sensor as the indicator.

As for your question, I doubt that a small amount of wobble would cause too much problem with your idle.

Perhaps the experts will disagree with me though. We'll see......

That's pretty small alright........

About .040". I doubt it has anything to do with your idle problem.

I should have asked before but, what is the clearance between your vr sensor and wheel?
