Error 2 when calibrating AFR

Post by TPI 85 Blazer »

I just switched from single WB (LC-1) to dual NB (4-wire isolated GM sensors) and can't get readings in TunerStudio. When I to to tools-->calibrate AFR (selecting NB) I get an error and it doesn't write. AFR1 and AFR2 are both stuck rich at 9 or something, which makes sense if MS thinks the LC-1 is still in use. I haven't verified actual voltage from the sensors yet, only that the heaters are working. It seems like either way I need to get past this calibration problem so the MSII box can calculate AFR.

I haven't messed with this MS setup for a couple of years because everything has been working great. So I've probably forgotten everything.

You need to switch from WB to NB in the 'Project Properties' tab.

I did find that setting and changed it. I will look up the code version I'm running, TS version, etc. Maybe I need to work from a new project or something.

OK, it's not error 2, it's an error to "/002", which is the table # for AFR.

I got this to work by going to project properties and having TS detect the MS setup. Then writing the table worked fine.
