If your question is about troubleshooting, configuration, or tuning, you MUST include your processor type (MS-I or MS-II) and code version in your post. If your question is about PCB assembly or modifications, you must also include the main board version number (1.01, 2.2 or 3.0). For tuning/troubleshooting questions, please attached a datalog and your MSQ file to your post.
If you have questions about MS1/Extra or MS2/Extra code configuration or tuning, please post them at www.msextra.com Such questions posted here will be moved to: a temporary MSextra sub-forum, where they will be removed after 7 days

Re: Trouble shooting resets
I had previously reloaded the firmware prior to posting the MSQ this morning. Just to be sure I again reloaded the firmware without loading the MSQ and have the same indications.

Re: Trouble shooting resets
If so the fix is either to replace the plug (I did so a couple times on my own unit before getting tired of doign so), or even better, to fix the core issue. Get the pin pulled out correctly. Then access the backside of the plug. The better ones have a plastic cover, remove it. Now you should be able to see the pin wiring going to the PCB. The problem is they can move around in there and eventually slide out of position. Mix up some epoxy. 5-minute should work if you do it quickly. Set the ecu up on end. Fill the inside of the DB37 channels. Work the exoxy into it with a small flatblade or simular. Make sure to get it filled up completely. Let it sit in position like that overnight (even if using 5 min expoxy, you want it HARD). If done right, it looks cool too! I actually start off now doing this on any unit I know will see extreme use and vibration. Solves some really hard to trace down issues!
I have also seen this happen when somebody just had a loose plug... Myself? I have run for years without screwing down my plug, and never had a problem with it coming loose. But this could have contributed to the plug fatigue. Or more likely the ECU getting plugged in and out so many times! I used my car as a testbed for the units I built.
Again, I could well be out in left field. But it is worth a look...

Re: Trouble shooting resets
I remeber once staring at battery voltages in MegaTune and seeing nothing amiss there. The refresh rate is not always fast enough to catch it. But the ECU still looses enough juice to drop below its minimal input voltage.
Anyways when you have stared at it for too long you can find all sorts of issues that arn't even issues. And hours later discover ya left the positve cable loose!

Thanks for the reply. I will look over the DB37 connection very closely. This problem is really kicking my butt. I returned the replacement DB card the the vendor for testing. They said there is no problem with the replacement card. When I plug my DB card into MS all indications appear normal except injector output pulses. Plug in the replacement DB card and and I get new problems as I discribed earlier.
