My datalogs from a dyno run the other day had IAT as high as 335+ The boost was not turned too much, well with in the turbo's abilitys. I use a GM iat sensor. Are these temps even possible?

So this bodes the question of what IAT sensor would be better suited for high temp inlet temps and more linear?
Cheers,

Hey rufus - i'm testing a kawasaki ZX6R unit at the moment - i'll post up if it's any use to you.

Even if the IAT was "accurate" in a stable state, the GM sensor is too slow under rapidly changing boost (and MAT) anyway which is probably why OEM setups typically have a IAT at the MAF. (not to mention the MAF itself)

I'm working on a mod to MS-II code to better compute air density in boost. Probably be a couple weeks.
