i've got a shielded ignition wire. the core will be connected to the negative of the coil(signal), how bout the shielded mesh around the core?
if refering the the wirings on MSII, Positive signal will go to Pin #24 and the negative will be going to Pin #7.
if i connect the shielded mesh to Pin #7, is that right?

Correct, CHB. Shielding is simply grounded at one end to one of the common ground pins (such as #7) to function properly. It is not considered a 'negative input' and should not be used to carry any signal.
