FYI - water temp was measured, intake temp pulled from the manual:
Points for use with EZ therm:
Stock Water Temperature Sensor
32 deg F = 6.02 Kohm
77 deg F = 2.080 Kohm
212 deg F = 230 ohm
Stock Intake Temperature Sensor
4 deg F 15 Kohm
32 deg F 5.5 Kohm
68 deg F 2.5 kohm
140 deg F .55 Kohm

dcg9381 -
Thanks! Little stuff like this helps. We are starting two Toy 2.4L turbo projects soon ('84 Celica and '86? PU). Although the pickup will be a daily driver, the Celica will be a blast. With a couple spare engines to experiment with, we should see lots of horsepower and flying parts as we explore various combinations. The camera will come in handy I think...

David, might ping me via email.. I've got a couple of ideas for a low dollar (relative) stroker motor that should be at the right compression for a turbo...
Even without a stoker, if you can use the 22RTE pistons, you're setup well.
There's someone here who also dyno'd a 1993 22RE "stock" motor with a turbo at over 200hp with megasquirt. My understanding is that the cast pistons are not good for more than 200 flywheel.
