Slim TPS for a D-shaped shaft

I have an Audi 100 throttle body that fits my application EXCEPT for the TPS which hits the bottom of the manifold. I cut off about 1/3rd of an inch off of the TPS shaft and installed the TB itself, but the TPS is still about an inch thick and won't fit. Does anybody know of any slim TPS that fits on a D-shaped shaft (about 4-5mm wide)?...

I have no idea on one that thin. Below is a link for a D type shaft that a lot of people have used.

Rather than mount the TPS directly on the shaft, is it possible to mount it remotely and use a short flexible drive of some sort? The amount of twist required is not much, I would think that plastic hose would almost do the trick. That might be easier than trying to get something to fit in there. Perhaps it can be mounted on the other side of the shaft?

Usually the tps case is the only tall part. Maybe you can crack open the case and just use the lower case and board near the input?

Try a TPS off a BMW 525.
