No fuel return line ?

I am getting ready to add MSII to a GM 3.5 out of a 2004 Malibu I noticecd that it only has one fuel line. From what I can see the return line feeds back to the pressure side. Can anyone tell me about this system, how is the pressure regulated, what is the factory pressure, or do I use a special pump for this application? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I'm specualting here, but others will chime in with better/more info.
Newest trend is to have returnless fuel systems to save on material cost. The fuel pump is then given a PWM signal from the ECM, and pump output controls amount of fuel flow instead of having full flow and returning what is not used (which is most of the time!).
A returnless system probably reduces vapor pressure in the tank and would be easier for retrofitting into a non-EFI car (if that's what you are doing). Are you putting MS on the Malibu or are you putting the engine in something else and ditching the OEM controls?
