question about itbs on VR6

I am planning on running an individual throttle body setup on a 2.8l VW VR6. i will be running MS2 for both ignition and fuel. since there are no pre built throttle body setups out there 6 cylinders i will need to custom fab somthing.

just to give some background on the motor, it is a 2.8 liter 12v 15 degree DOHC torque monster  . i will be running with custom forged pistons hopefully in the ballpark of 11-12:1 compression ratio.

first of all, with 6 throttle bodies how should i run the intake air temp sensor? one for all 6 intake tubes, or one for each? if one for each how do i interface all 6 to the ms board?

next, should i spring for the ms sequencer board to run sequential injection, or will batch firing work for itbs?

lastly, since i have to custom fab my throttle body setup, i was wondering if anyone has ran a drive by wire setup with megasquirt. the reason for this is to do away with mechanical linkage and run each throttle body with its own actuator

by the way, this car is for the street, meaning it has to be drivable at all rpms.

Use one IAT sensor. It could be in one of the intake trumpets, preferably the one you expect to run hottest.

There are quite a few batch fire / ITB Megasquirt setups up and running.

The Megasquirt does not open the throttle itself or control drive by wire throttles, but it also doesn't care whether the throttle is opened with a mechanical linkage or an electronic actuator as long as it gets a decent TPS signal.
