Sparatic MAP drop -20

Sometimes while driving my MAP sensor will drop out and I will go LEAN and cause my Jeep to stumble and as it does this it jerks like I'm applying the brakes. This is not a problem that is consistent. It comes and goes...sometimes it will happen 3 times in 20 mins....others none.

The recent log shows it dropped to -20. I have the graph as an image. Its the on the top layer just left of the line. You can see the plummet towards the bottom line.

What could cause this?

Could you please post a complete copy of the log file? Sounds like it's either some very strange noise or a firmware corruption problem.

Very weird. This could be some sort of voltage spike on VREF or the 12 volt input, or it could be a damaged MAP sensor.

actually now that you said that, I think it is the connection on the MAP. One of the holes that the prong goes through for you to solder.... well some of the copper came off... So I should find another connection on the board and use a jumper wire....

Ok so if the MAP sensor port is away from you and your looking from the top,..... the solder WILL NOT take on the 3rd prong. Its between the 102 and 104 yellow diode things. Can I jump this to somehwere, or is my bored messed up?

You can wire the 3rd prong to other VREF points on the board.
