Strange reset issue, protection mode?

Alright have been searching the manuals and the internet to maybe gather some information about my problem but it doesn't look like anyone have had the same problem as ive got, or atleast they didnt post about it!
Im running a Ms2 (From DIY) 3.57 on my Ford Sierra (2.0l Pinto-turbo) whit direct coil control and tfi. Using a BIP373 in the q16 slot. (And mica insulator).Running Ms2-extra 2.0.1 code.

I was just out and started the car, it runs for 5-6 minutes and then megasquirt "cuts out", car stalls, i suddenly get no connection to my ecu and all i can do is wait..And after a 5-10minperiod i turn the ignition on and there ive got a connection again! Start the car again, and it happens again. This happened twice on my way home yesterday.
Ive had my Sierra up and running for about a month soon, and all ive had is 2 short resets when out driving the car. Until this happened.

Is there some sort of thermal overload protection in the MS ecu that prevents the ecu from beeing operative until its cooled down?
I now the bip373 got a thermal protection and will shut down if too hot, but that shouldnt be the problem in my case, im not loosing just spark.

Im running Fixed duty 50% @ dwell, and i noticed that my dwell was 12ms on idle, 1100rpm. Too high? Not sure how i can lower the dwell since its fixed duty..I also did a datalog of the problem but nothing shows.I did try standard dwell and 3.2ms but same problem shows.Ecu get disconnected and ofcourse it cant send earth signals.

And my last question, if the trigger offset isn't 100% correct calibrated, a few degrees wrong (ex.). Could that make the ecu shut down after awhile?
Beacuse i had a problem not beeing able to rev past 4500rpms, so i moved the dizzy 3-4 degrees maybe and i then could rev past 6000rpms, but thats when the "reset" issue started to show and make my christmas alot worse :RTFM: Im going to move it back and see if the problem still stays. And i will update here.

Anyway, have a nice christmas everyone! if anyone got some suggestions or ideas please share.Im really stuck at this!
i can upload my msq and a datalog if anyone wants to take a look:)

I just opened the ms case, and watched the ecu as the engine was idling, did not see any shorts when i lost contact to the ecu. And i also noticed that ALL the leds on the board lights on when the car dies out. :?
Ive almost got it up to 75degrees celcius(it's -15deg C outside  ), going to try and calibrate trigger offset again now when its warm, since i now have it idling at 1000-1100rpm it should be an easy job.
Im going trough the boards components as we speak, and i cant find anything unusual. im doing some resoldering of some connections just to see if it would help and clean the board again.
Also had my fingers on different components in the megasquirt but they didnt get to hot i guess, i could easily hold my fingers there.

This is getting to me

Im a genious!!! Or just superb lucky today. :yeah!: Problem solved! Had some bad connection in the "fuse holder" that is mounted on the 12v wire to MS. I just accidently looked behind my dashboard when the car stopped and saw something that could look like a spark plug! Definitly the troublemaker. So i went and bought a new one. And the car is up running again :!:
such small mistakes are hard to find, but after i resoldered and washed the board and it still did act the same all i could think of was a bad connection in the wiring "somewhere"..or a fried ecu.
Happy x-mas :D
