Cant figure out edis
Re: Cant figure out edis
Using standard R plugs together with copper spark wires works fine.
That said the most common trouble is VR sensor polarity, try both ways. Keep VR sensor gap to 36-1 wheel at about 1 mm
And make sure wheel is made in mild/cast steel , and not masked by a magnetic wheel of larger diameter that can
screw up the induction crct.
Are you sure you have plus feed to EDIS in cranking? Connect to battery + thru a 10A fuse to be sure for a short test.
EDIS is hardware bulletproof and software is not accessible. Ideal for a guy like me!
And be sure that you KNOW that it is not sparking. EDIS is hard to strobe with som dial back and/or clamp pickup strobes.
Take the plugs out , connect the HT stuff , ground the plugs and make an eyeball check!

EDIS is pretty bulletproof once all the proper connections are made.
