You can put Megasquirt on almost anything. Not knowing much about that engine, you might want to check out MSRuns.com and see if anyone has had success previously. Is this engine similar to the B230?

i don't know much about this engine ..... i know only that is 2000cc and it has 113hp stock .....it's like the B200F only it's a bit stronger ....the internals from B19E are stronger than the B200F. and i don't know what version of the megasquirt can be mounted on the car .... the engine is from 1983 ..... if it helps here are some pictures with the engine .....

Does the distributor have a mechanical and vacuum advance, or is it locked out with computer controlled ignition?

By your pics, you've got a flapper system so similar to the one fitted to early Rover V-8s. I have one of those and am using an MSII V3, which I built from a DIY kit. You can get rid of the flapper and use vacuum or hot wire flow sensing. All the other sensors and injectors remain stock.

I'm not sure what ignition yours uses. If standalone, you can keep that. Or change it to a mapped system using the MS.

If your have some electronics experience, it's well worth building your own unit. Apart from the considerable saving cost wise it will give you a better understanding of how it works. That for most is a pretty steep learning curve.
