i am running a v3 board with ms2 i cant figure why anyone would want to use a module to trigger the coil if the squirt can do it directly. is there a benefit. is it because if u have a short in the high tension wire for a long period it will only burn the module and not the squirt. but isnt the trigger in the squirt only like 8 bucks vs a 60$ module. maybe it is to help reduce noise inside the squirt.
seriously i need to know! i have no clue.

Matt has a
very good article regarding ignition options on his web site that you might want to look at.

I generally base my recommendation on just one thing:
Do you already have the ignition module?
