ecort rs2300 turbo (managment needed)
my name is james and i have been directed here for some help.
I have a mk 5 escort rs2000(i4 engine) which i have converted to 2.3 and have fitted a turbo. i had the car on a rolling road at power engineering as i was only going to be running a low boost set up and hoped the standard map sensor and managment would be able to take around 5psi, but no luck. only 2psi lol.
They told me megasquirt would be perfect for what i want and have directed me here.
im not very clued up when it comes to managment, so hoping for your help. the car runs edis and twin coil packs, and i need to be able to run boost up to around 8psi, and in the future around 18psi.
i really need to know what model ecu to use and what extra bits i will need to make it as easy as possible to install.
thanks in advance james

my guess is megasquirt 2, or possibly microsquirt, depending on specifics. DIY can help you figure it out.
Your setup is pretty standard, and it comes down to how much you want to solder yourself, versus just buying a controller ready to go.
