I want to know if there any news or progress on an android version ? With all the incoming tablet and the popularity of them , having the first efi tuning software on android can give an edge to megasquirt and bring many new user.


I own an archos 5 it , an 5 inch tablet runing android , that can also run Ångström with the open firmware that archos give us. I have this tablet for surfing on the sofa and Pmp but secretly I dream about controlling MS with it

Progress, non other than research... Android is my 1st target though, other than windows tablets...
I wouldn't could on a solution this year, but maybe by next spring there will be something

Since I just got an android phone a few months ago, this is great news.

Many more android tablet will be launch soon, Archos just release 5 of them at really resonable price... not talking 800-1000 like the new samsung one but a 2.8" at 99$, 3.2" at 149$, 4.3 at 199$, 7" at 275$ and a 10.1" at 299$ and all of them runing android 2.2. The 10.1 format is not 4X3 like the Ipad but more 16X9 so its still a format that can fit nicely on a dash.

Off course at this price they have they limitation, no 3G, no GPS but that not a cell phone so its ok , you still can hook your 3g cell to them if internet is needed anywhere and connect a BT GPS Sensor if needed.

I hope this program gonna be port to android soon. if you need help with that ask around on a android devolper ( forum.xda-developers.com ) they probably can help a lot. Too bad coding is chiness for me I would like to help more. I hear its not so hard to port Linux base program the hard thing is the UI interface.

A least I will be happy to beta test when needed.

There some OBD2 program out there already on android, They already figure the way to comunicate BT with the OBD2 plug ( serial to BT adapter), so there something less to think about in your work to bring us the first android tuning software.

Hold tight. I had a lot of catch up on TS and MLV, but am finally making progress here. It will still be several months before anything will be ready for public testing.
The initial versions will not be a full tuning app like TS, I figure even data logging and some readout would be quite helpful. Eventually it will be full function.

Currently looking for a small tablet to take place of my radio so I can add gauge read-outs there instead all over the car. Want OEM as possible.

I have phone samsung galaxy s android, 1ghz processor 512mb ram , and i buy rs323 bluetooth conversor chip for use in ms2v3 hardware and comunicate with my bluetooth android phone, im very interessed on TS for android´s !

Is very important to develop App´s for android, the android equipment are gaining popularity very very fast!

Congratulations to TS team for the beautiful develop TS software for pc, mac and linux, and the future android , a like to be a beta tester and/or buy TS for droid

bump? any more news yet? i told the gf i want her old phone [galaxy S] when an android app comes out, and because i dont use a phone anymore since my last died [i call it my leash... ] she's whinging for me to get a phone or pay for her upgrade to a galaxy S2 so i get her old one.

Finally making progress here. The change requests for TunerStudio and MLV have been completely clogging the pipes for a while now. But I have been working on moving Android to the number 1 priority. The Logger will be available for beta testing very soon.

Again though, this will not be an Android TunerStudio. That will be a multi year effort, as TunerStudio was. So 1st there will be a Logging app for capturing data logs and displaying basic run time values. The point in this app is not to be the beginning of a TunerStudio for Android, but get us something working now.
Once this is available though, the focus will turn to completing the full tuning version Android app.

Awsome this makes me happy since I already tomahawked one laptop off of my fourwheeler, it's pretty hard to log and tune hanginging onto a laptop or strappimg it down. I get some weird looks from my neighbors Is the betta going to be offered to eveyone?

Expect a beta of the logger in the next couple weeks.

It is Bluetooth only at this point.
