You'd only do this if they fired at the same time - like some twin plug engines. What sort of engine is this, and what sort of ignitor?

Alfa Romeo 75 (Milano) Twin Spark.
4 cylinders with 2 spark plugs each. They fire at the same time. I don't have right now p/n for the coils/ignitors, but they are the stock ones (Bosch).
I am going to use DIS ignition finally, but i thought to give it a try first with the stock ignition system!

Did you do this yet? Did it work?

I have a Porsche 911 with twin plug ignition. I was thinking about using two bosch 124 ignitors, but was concerned that splitting the signal from pin 36 wouldn't work because if there was any difference in resistance the current would only flow through one ignitor. (path of least resistance)

Would splitting the signal from pin 36 drive 2 ignitors?

thanks,
AL

Hello Al,
unfortunately I skipped trying the stock ignition system with the distributors and went DIS.
