Edis and coolest temp sensor twitching

Hey everybody
I have an ms2 3.00 on my olds 455 with edis 8
I'm running it through the relay board and that is what I have narrowed down my problem to.
Everything was fine until I followed the mega manule for edis
"If you are using the relay board with a v3 main board:
the SAW signal connects to the S5 terminal (#11 on the 20 position terminal strip) on the relay board, it comes from DB37 pin 36 (make sure you have a wire connecting pin 36 to pin 36 in the MegaSquirt/relay board connecting cable),
the PIP signal connects to the Tach terminal (#15 on the 20 position terminal strip) on the relay board, it goes to DB37 pin 24."
Since I did this my clt temps are jumping around with each revolution.
When I go to my extra harness directly to the sensor it reads perfect
Then I took my multi meter and I had continuity between pin 36 and the coolest temp terminal
Any ideas???
