Noisy EGO solved!

Thought this one was worth a special mention. Ever since I switched to the wideband feedback, a noisy signal was ever present. If you see my "LC1 gone cazy" and "Is this much AFR noise normal" posts. As I've posted, some improvement was achieved by powering the LC1 from a dedicated circuit, rather than the ignition/pump feed. I decided to go a bit further, and purchased a noise filter disigned for filtering noise from car radio's or CB's. That was the eureka moment. Went for a drive and took a log. Wow! Nice smooth feedback without any lean spikes. The oly time I get some (low level) noise is when at idle and the thermo fan kicks in. Makes sense. Decided to do another couple of VEAL runs, and the results are far better than before, and I thought it was good then. Anyhow, I hope this helps others, as I've read a lot about unstable or noisy WB feedback, perhaps even some LC1's were maybe unjustly vilified as un-reliable, where noise could have been the culprit.
