Advise for Ford Pinto Buggy

Hi Guys
I am new here and wanted some advise on what to get for my build. I have a tube buggy with a Ford Pinto 2.0 motor currntly running a Webber 32/36 which does not like hill climbs.
I have a Ford Central Point Injection (CPI or CFI) Throttle Body from a Aussie Ford Falcon EA 3.9 which bolds on (Same footprint as carb) and was looking at the MiroSquirt module due to its sealed case (Waterproof) and small footprint (No space).
After weeks of reading the forum I know I will need to add sensors for MAP, Coolant, IAT and cO2. I have a distubutor with electronic igition using the Motrocraft 83BB 12A199 B3A which I think can driven by the Microsquirt? Not sure if this is what is called TFI? I would like to run fuel and ignition.
Am I missing anything or am I totally off the mark. Any advice welcome as the only person I have found to have done it is not wanting to share any info. Thanks.

Does this distributor have a module with a 6 pin plug on it, or two wires coming out?

The Distributor has 2 wires

Is that not going to work? What will be needed to make it work? The distributer is the Bosh/AccuSpark electronic ignition conversion.

I took a look at the AccuSpark site - not a lot of info! You'd think they didn't want people using their parts for upgrades or something ...
If you have only two wires, I would suggest setting it up like a points trigger - see
this link to the manual, then scroll all the way to the bottom. The diagram is for a full-sized MS, for a uS, connect the 'pin 24' wire to OPTOIN+, and connect OPTOIN- to ground.
Just one other point to comment on - there is a difference between a MicroSquirt and a MicroSquirt module. The first is
the complete controller in a sealable enclosure; the other is a
bare circuit board you use as the core of your own controller.

Thanks, I thought I would be using the hall effect triggering? The module can be seen on e bay (either on the com, com.au or co.uk sites) by serching "Ford Pinto AccuSpark" which shows a hall effect pickup and a magnet. The manual you linked to does show a hall effect sensor so I assumed this is what I would be doing. I guess I just don't understand enough yet, electronics and wiring is no problem but when it gets to tuning and mechanical I have no idea. I will start re-reading the manual to see if I can get a better understanding of what I need to buy and what I need to do and why.

Any more sugestions or comments will be welcomed.
Great to find people willing to share some info, Thanks

The AccuSpark almost certainly IS a Hall effect sensor; the circuit I linked should work with either points or Hall.

Thx will recheck that diagram. So the MircroSquirt will be the correct choice for my needs along with a wirring harness and the sensors for MAP, Coolant, IAT and cO2. Have I got everything covered or am I missing either parts or some important piece of information. I just need reliable running at all angles and don't expect or need major preformance, just the same or perhaps slighly better than carb.

You'll probably want a TPS as well. You CAN work without it, but it's just easier with it.

Thx, I have that covered as the Central Point Injection (CPI or CFI) Throttle Body has one built in as well as a fuel pressure regulator.
