Stuck in Injector Test Mode

Help

I have a Mirosquirt (new) connected up, went through and calibarted all the sensors and all good. Started flow test using injector test mode but now stuck in that mode, each time turned on the test mode is started but no communications to microsquirt, says offline. I have tried disconecting the battery for a day but still stuck in test mode.

Serial port tests good with loopback connector and talks to other devices so that is not the problem, car not yet started.

Please help

Try reloading the firmware - does that fix it?

Thanks, I have tried but am having no success.

I have followed the instructions here http://www.useasydocs.com/details/usv3code.htm but to no avail. I get "ERROR: Unknown status received, s=0x3E" or "0x00" or "0x01" or "0xE1".

It runs for around 20 min restarting a few times then hangs on one of the errors listed at random. Sometimes get could not read block errors (random number, not the same one) then after a long wait it carries on but never finishes.

I downloaded the files again and retried but same result, my serial port (No USB) is set to 9600, Data bits 8, Parity None, Stop Bits 1, Flow Control None , FIFO buffers on and both set to high. I have tried to disable FIFO and changing BPS to 115200 but error code just changes to ERROR: Could not read monitor prompt, 0x00 0x3E 0x00.

Changing the boot loader switch back confirms the injector test has stopped but still no comms, I have tried to reload the firmware several times with various combinations of rebooting the laptop and MicroSquirt but still get random errors.

Same serial port reads Zeitronix ZT-3 Wideband and passes loopback tests?

I have 2 injectors, low impedance, connected with 2 x 5a fuses and 2x8 Ohm 25w resistors as per the instructions and they were working in the injector test mode.

The other connections are TPS, MAP sensor, Coolant and AIT as well as Zeitronix Wideband, I will be runniing Fuel only and will still need to connect coil triggering as per http://www.msextra.com/doc/general/tachin-us3.html and have 1K resistor and diode for those.

Fuel pressure was checked and sensors calibrated as per the before you start instructions.

Sorry should probably mention erasing flash goes through no problem, verifiying is where the problems start (if that is relevant)
