I let my TS do an update and then decided to do some rearranging on my gauges. I no longer can find a gauge RPM, only rpm dot, is that the same thing?

Nope, RPMdot would be the rate of change to RPM.

For the most part, what gauges are on the right click menu is controlled by the firmwares ini, not the version of TS.

You might want to look for a gauge called Engine Speed, or Tachometer instead of RPM. I believe that is what most Firmwares are calling it these days.
