Looking for a tune

I'm looking for a tune as a starting point. I know each engine has it's own quirks and no one tune is the same even if the engines are "the same". I'm looking for either someone here to share their tune, or a place to browse and download a tune.

The specifics: MS1 v2.2 (fuel only)
Engine: sbc 383, 13:1 comp, 36 lb injectors @ 42 psi (42 lb injectors @ 56 psi), port injection, edelbrock 4 barrel throttle body (1000 cfm), aluminum heads, msd ignition

Not sure what other information someone would need to know. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

If you have estimated torque curves, you could use the VE table in the registered version of TunerStudio to get a decent starting point on the VE table.

It does sound the easy way to start out with a 'near enough' tune from someone else. And it may well be for someone very familiar with MS who can see any obvious 'gotchas' in the MSQ at a glance. But if you're new to MS, it makes sense to go through the setting up procedure from the base tune after loading fresh code. If only to familiarise yourself about what everything does.
If we were dealing with a factory EFI installation where every example was the same, the same tune would be fine. But since we're talking about individual conversions, no two are identical.

IMHO, the best way is to get the engine running reasonably well from basics. Then by all means compare the tune from a similar engine to yours.

As suggested, I installed the base tune and went through those settings as outlined in the manual. The engine won't start. The engine was run on an engine dyno with a carb. We did the break in and set the timing at this time. I've checked and the engine has spark and I can smell fuel, so I know it is getting it. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why it won't start?

Post your msq and a log of an attempted start.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I've double checked the ignition system and confirmed it with spark. I've sprayed fuel (using a squirt bottle) in through the throttle body and the car tries to start. And the spark plugs have been dry when I pulled them and checked immediately after an attempt. So conclusion is that I don't think I'm getting enough (or any) fuel to start the engine. Thoughts?

There seems to be a problem with the RPM input; it's only reading 30 RPM. It also appears the MAP sensor may be unplugged.

The MAP is not unplugged. I've also blown and sucked on the vacuum hose to the MAP while running the software and it increases or decreases depending whether blowing or sucking. I don't know what to say about the RPM signal. It is a brand new MSD ignition box that has a square wave output. Again the engine isn't starting and just cranking it over, so I wouldn't expect much for an RPM signal.
