MSefi.com read only forum (Jan.15,2018)

I use registered TS on an old notebook running linux. I hadn't used it for awhile and hooked to the MS and it asked if I wanted to update. I said no. Hooked onto car and everything worked as expected. After I finished my session and was in house I started TS again. When it asked if I wanted to update I said ok. It went through the update process and it didn't go to TS so I attempted a start. When I get to the tunerstudio.sh it puts up the familiar screen and I say run and it just goes back to the tunerstudio.sh and nothing happens. Could you tell me what might be wrong or how to get back to the previous before the update. Thanks

Was it the beta? There haven't been any updates to the stable in over a year.

If it is the beta, then make sure you have a 1.7 JRE, the 2.9.x beta requires a 1.7 JRe on Linux vs the 1.5 JRE being the minimum with 2.6.x

Or you can go back to 2.6 by downloading it again from:
http://www.tunerstudio.com/index.php/downloads
