I thought this would have been an easy question for anyone who has used EasyTherm before.
I have just got MS working on my Fiesta RS Turbo 1.8 230BHP Fired up first try. Except for the wrong temperature readings, and MS doesnt seem to like its standard Throttle Sensor.

I don't have any specs on Ford sensors handy. You may
have to take a look in your Factory Service Manual, or
measure the sensors if no one else has the data you
are looking for.

:D o.k i have joined a mondeo enthusiast club on the net i am going to be using the iat of a mondeo, i posted the question and i have the answer,
-40 degrees c = 860-900k ohms
20 degrees c = 35-40k
100 degrees c= 1.9-2.5k
120 degrees c= 1.0-1.3k

i hope this helps i am not using the coolant sensor as mine is fiat but if ou join the forum you will more than likely get the answer the site is www.fordmondeo.org

i have found that if anyone is after info on ford related stuff just email them direct they seem rather helpfull as i have now got a proper, temp to resistance table from them.

What i did for my Ford was to change the Bias resistor to 27Kohms, after that small change your temps read good without using easytherm.

GM 30c 2238 2.49k 2.36
Ford 30c 24270 27k 2.36

Ford 100c 2070 27k .356
Bosch 100c 175 2.2k .368

So, you can see that the GM, Ford, and Bosch sensors are all within 11% deviation.
The sensors can have a deviation of 15% according to tech manuals. So, you
can use the various different sensors without having to reprogram the MS for the
particular sensor. This is because the sensors all share the same basic curve.

The equation I used to arrive at the proper bias value is:

C30 = resistance at 30C
C100 = resistance at 100C
B1 = 2238 / (2238 + 2490) = .4733
B2 = 177 / (177 + 2490) = .0663
R1 = C30 / B1 - C30
R2 = C100 / B2 - C100
R = R1 + R2 / 2

Mataston- You can do this also, just change the bias resistor to 27K and you can use the Mondeo sensor, without messing with all that easytherm stuff. A Mondeo is a Ford right? Same as the Ford Contour here in the States I believe. Funny, all the Ford temp sensors seem to be the same, whether they came off a Mondeo in the UK, or a 6 ton truck chassis in USA.

I got some info from alldata

all EEC-IV 83-90
coolant and air cahrge sensors are as follows

ohms @ deg. f/c
31700-42900 68/20
13650-18650 104/40
6500-8900 140/60
3240-4440 176/80
1770-2370 212/100
980-1380 248/115

can i use this formulae but using temperature of 20 degrees c instead of 30?

in order to get the correct bias resistor for my fiat cooland sensor?
